thanks satish, black and whites can make anything look beautiful, its a wonderful medium. i am planning to try out infra red photography for landscapes; the almost ethereal quality it brings out in a landscape is something i am waiting to try out. but my camera doesn't support IR :(
Wow are you ever a great photographer!! Incredibly beautiful. I'm glad I discovered you. I clicked on a comment you made on Dr. Kishore's blog. I also really like your description of yourself. you are a classic introvert like myself. We love to be alone, and where better than in the beauty of nature. I was lucky to have grown up in nature on a farm in Canada. i will keep coming back to your blog to see yours photos.
thanks everyone! Stan, i am flattered and yes, i guess you have pretty much right about my personality... and i confess i really envy your life! really glad i met you... Sudarshan, i am looking at quite a few routes for a nice trek in february, hope you could come along.
I wanted to post a comment on your pondicherry pic but I am unable to, for some technical reason. Just wanted to say that, it seems to me like the sky is in turmoil and the ocean is calm.A very nice pic.
Satish, of course you can join us. but like i said, i am still 'planning'. never been to Silent Valley, would love to do that trek, maybe you could take the lead..?
IR is a special kind of photography. i first got to learn about them when i saw the works of Ian Lockwood. he documents the anaimudi range mainly with IR film. we shall talk more about them when we meet up.
Sure Sudarshan, tat wld b fun.. My frnd got the Forest Officer's phone number.. I'ill call him n chk abt permissons to Trek in the main trek route. Let u guys know in a day or two
